The EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology) for Culture & Creativity is looking to fund initiatives that could boost innovation, entrepreneurship, and the competitiveness of Europe’s cultural and creative industries as well as Europe’s green, digital, and social transitions.
In this context the EIT for Culture & Creativity has released its first call for proposals. Until 31 May 2023, submissions addressing the worldwide challenges that Europe faces in higher education, innovation, company creation, and society, can be proposed.
EIT Culture & Creativity is the ninth Innovation Community by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). By linking artists and organisations to Europe’s largest innovation network, it aims to strengthen and transform Europe’s Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSI). It promotes the understanding and anchoring of European values and identities by taking an all-encompassing and open approach to innovation, from technological to artistically driven advances, whether commercial or citizen driven.
For 2024 up to 10.45 million Euro is available for all CCSI stakeholders active in the EU member states and Associated Member states of the Horizon Europe Programme. Through technology transfer, enhanced cross-sectoral collaboration, and their efficient integration in production value networks, EIT Culture & Creativity will release latent value from a multitude of small CCSI stakeholders. It will promote technological, commercial, creative, and social innovation.
A second call for proposals will be published in the second half of 2023 for activities starting mid-2024 and in 2025.
