Museums as Social Institutions – Trust and Communities

Academic researchers and museum practitioners from around the world are invited to examine and discuss
  • Perception of museums and trust in museums as a source of information
  • How to connect with various local and diverse communities and welcome new audiences

The sessions are designed to be exchange-oriented, with a brief theoretical and practical introduction in the form of a keynote and several short presentations followed by an opportunity to exchange ideas in a plenary discussion. During a World Café on the second day of the conference, participants will be able to exchange perspectives and experiences, develop common goals and perhaps already initial ideas for solutions to the conference topics. For those who cannot come to Germany, the keynote and short presentations will be made available in a digital version of our conference.

The event is finished.
