Workshop: Adapting/ Supplementing ESCO for the needs of the Cultural Creative Sectors and Industries
For the warming up of the European Creative Industries Summit (#ECIS23) Conference, from 23-24 May, Creative FLIP along with CHARTER and Cyanotypes projects have joined forces to offer its members the opportunity to participate in a session to review ESCO’s occupational skills of interest for the Cultural Creative Sectors and Industries (CCIs).
CCSI employment information is hard to find as it’s fragmented across various formats and classifications that do not fully interoperate in capturing the professional world. Creative FLIP aims to improve visibility and accuracy by using the European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations classification (ESCO) to define sectoral scope more clearly and comprehensibly.
In this workshop, the ESCO skills profiles are reviewed, identify and cluster ESCO skills of interest for the specific area of expertise, and discuss transversally important characteristics required by people working in the sector. The CCSI domains in focus will be:
- CULTURAL HERITAGE: e.g. historical places, museums, archives, libraries, galleries, conservation
- DESIGN, GAMING AND AUDIOVISUAL INDUSTRIES
Please notice, this is an on site event and in-person participation is required.
