The European Commission recently published a call for proposals for establishing a European Heritage Hub. The Hub would build on the legacy of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 and bring together cultural heritage stakeholders and act as an advocacy and knowledge platform.
The pilot project European Heritage Hub intends to support a holistic and cost-effective follow-up to the European Year of Cultural Heritage by building and sustaining the European Framework for Action on Cultural Heritage. It is meant as an autonomous advocacy and knowledge platform bringing together a large array of cultural heritage stakeholders, at European, national and above all regional levels. This Heritage Hub will also strengthen the engagement of citizens (especially younger generations) with Europe’s cultural heritage during, and following, the European Year of Youth 2022.
