Recent work by CHARTER WP 5 Alliances, Sustainable Strategies and Policy Recommendations

To give a better idea of the extensive work carried out by the CHARTER Alliance in addition to the official deliverables and meetings, CHARTER is publishing bi-yearly updates of relevant updates from the different Working Packages (WPs) that make up the project.

We already offered an update by Working Package 4 Sector Integrated Dynamics, and today we are sharing the second updated received from the different Work Packages. Working Package 5 Alliances, Sustainable Strategies and Policy recommendations is organising internally and preparing the upcoming internal policy briefings series for the CHARTER project partners. The input will feed into upcoming policy actions by the CHARTER Alliance.

The majority of work carried out by Work Package 5 will start later, but they are already preparing the be sure that the desired outcome is achieved. The main responsibilities of WP 5 include:

    • Draft a transferable, sustainable skills strategy for cultural heritage built on the results of working packages 2, 3 and 4 including its national and regional roll-out.
    • Propose recommendations for the major challenges faced by the CH workforce.
    • Mainstream methodologies and outcomes produced during the project’s lifetime, maximising impact and creating multiplier effects at the European, national and regional levels, creating a long-term strategy for the sector.
    • Create engaging strategies for stakeholders and policy makers in all participating countries and at the European level for feedback and dissemination, to guarantee the project’s impact, transferability and life cycle at the European, national and regional levels.
